older mom

Hi, I'm new here and would really like to hear about other mommies. I have 2 boys ages 3 & 4. My 1st was born a month before I turned 40.
I was a home health nurse for 20 years before baby and my husband of 15 years is retired from the Navy after 21 years and now is working on his second carrier as a helicpoter mech. We also have a small ranch in western Montana. My oldest boy is starting Pre K on monday and I'm very excited and nerves about it. but I do look forward to spending some special time with my 3 year old boy alone. Are there any other mommies out there that are older? Some times I feel so odd as most of my friends kids are starting collage this year. Although I do love being an older mommy because I can stay home with them now and I think I'm allot more setteled down then I use to be. These days I'm ready to go to bed by 9:00.
