Pregnancy & Birth Discussiontrying to get pregnant at 36 yrs. old is it to old?Absolutely not too old!! I had my 1st at 37 and 2nd at 39. You are fortunate to have a 7 yr old who is able to understand that you will need to attend to the baby, can play on their own and help out. I say go for it!! No, not at all! I think it is extremely common to get pregnant in your 30's...I had both my children in my 30's. Good luck!
As long as you are in good health and you are monitored closely during your pregnancy there is no reason you shouldn't try to conceive at 37. Good luck!!!
Good luck, it's never late, just do not avoid any control tests.
The main thing to feel good about that and to be healthy.
I have a relative who was pregnant at the age of 41 and she did just fine. I think if thats what you want in life, go for it!
Missy: Im 33 And trying to have a baby for 12 years people makes comments, But it is only your buisness, not theres. GOOD LUCK !!
I am 42 and have 5 kids 22,17,14,3, and 2 so you do the math! I suffered from what they call second term infertility. Turns out I had a thyroid issue I was unaware of. Make sure you have a good doctor who covers ALL the bases...it is possible to have kids even like me into your forties! Good Luck

my parents had me in there late 40's! GO FOR IT!! They have both said they were happy to wait, because it allowed us to do more and have more growing up,as they were secure in there careers and marriage.
